Staff Roles at the Lodge

Medical Director:

Our Medical Director handles any new or existing medical issues while the patient is in residential treatment.  He develops a plan for the resident to taper off their addictive substances and transitions them to medications that are non-addictive.

Executive Director:

The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing our Clinical Director and Program Director.

Clinical Director:

The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the entire Clinical Team, including all of our Substance Abuse Counselors and therapists. He is responsible for developing and updating our resident’s treatment plans.

Program Director:

The Program Director makes sure all areas of the program run, as they should. The Program Director is responsible for making sure the daily schedule is followed. The Program Director is also in charge of hiring, training and overseeing our House Manager, Case Manager and all of our mentor staff.

Therapist:

Our therapists conduct individual therapy and are available for our residents to discuss any sort of mental health issue. They also conduct the processing groups.

Point Person:

A Point Person is the Substance Abuse Counselor specifically assigned to each resident. These counselors do individual counseling sessions and also conduct the substance abuse groups.

House Manager:

The House Manager is responsible for managing the facility.  He ensures that residents are doing their chores, conducts drug tests, purchases the food at the lodge, services our vehicles and oversees the general upkeep and maintenance needed at the lodge.

Case Manager:

The Case Manager takes care of all of the resident’s needs outside of therapy. This could include assisting the resident in job searches, helping find resources to help the resident after they leave treatment, developing an after-care plan, making sure that bills are paid while in treatment, and other basic life requirements.

Mentors:

Mentors are our night and weekend staff members. They are an integral part of keeping the lodge operating while our Clinical Team and other daytime staff are off work.  Mentors assist the residents in making meals, take the residents to meeting in the evenings, take the residents to the gym in the mornings, and handle are also available to mentor and help our residents by sharing their own experiences and wisdom.
